Weekending | Low-key and Lazy!

Happy Monday, Gals! If you saw my Daily Leah post from yesterday then you know that Thursday and Friday nights and Saturday I was all by myself! Tate had a softball tournament and Brylee went to Odessa to get some grandparent time. So that left me home alone and I couldn't have been more excited. It did feel weird not having B there on a week night and I did miss her but this mama was excited to have some alone time. What did I do? Well...

Friday night - I fixed my bluray player so I could finally get Netflix back! I ordered pizza and, while waiting on that, spent 30 minutes linking the bluray to the wifi and updating it. I binged about the first 5 episodes of Fuller House and watched some episodes of Friends. Tate got home around midnight and did not want to stay up and watch a few episodes with me - can't say I blame him, he had to be up at 3:45 am - so I decided to shut it down also.

Saturday - I woke up when Tate did but went right back to sleep then for whatever reason I was wide awake at 6. So, what did I do? Watch a few more episodes of Fuller House and Friends and Gilmore Girls. I decided to give my sister a call not realizing what time it was and I'm pretty sure I woke her up (hi Stormi!), talked to her for a few then went back to my binge watching.

I then started cleaning the house... like deep cleaning the house! I had the radio up loud and started digging through every nook and cranny in my house. It was serious y'all! While I was on the floor cleaning out the desk trying to match the pitch of Jason Derulo (Want You To Want Me) I was pretty much attacked by Layla thinking it was an invitation to play.

I took this time to purge my closets and mark that off my to-do list.

Brylee and Tate got home around 3:30 and Tate had to turn around and leave again by 4:30. B got to ride on the bus with the softball team and she loved it!

I called it quits around 7, popped some popcorn and introduced B to Netflix. There were soooo many movies she wants to watch. And for the record, the only thing I had to eat those past few days was pizza and popcorn - that can't be good for Operation Get Fit! ha!

Sunday - B and I got ready and left for Abilene. We had lunch at McAlisters (one of my favorites), went to Target and then went grocery shopping. I got some really good finds at Target, mostly for Brylee and my nephew, but I did find me a bag to use for my laptop and books and a shoe organizer! I don't care for over the door organizers but after my closet purge I really needed something for my shoes and this one was on clearance for $2.98!!  Our closet isn't huge but there is a lot of wasted space. I would redo it in a heartbeat if I could.

Got home, started the grill for dinner and started to get caught up on The Voice. After dinner I meal prepped for the week and then Tate and I sat down to watch Dateline: The People vs OJ Simpson.

Low-key lazy weekends are often some of the best!

Linking up with Biana.

Have a great week! :)
