Kids Behind The Blog | May

We've made it halfway through the week - wahoo! If you read my weekend recap post then you know I had some car issues over the weekend. Now, my car is in the shop and I'm driving a massive tonka truck as a rental. It is brand new (has 55 miles on it!) and is fun to drive but I feel like I need a step ladder to get in. Also, because of the newness, I have no clue how to work some things. Like the AC. Or the fact that it keeps telling me to keep my eyes on the road. Like, how does it know that I looked out my window? Weird. Anywho, I'm thankful for my rental and that my car is getting fixed. 

Enough of that nonsense, it's time again for The Kids (or kid in my case) Behind The Blog link up! I love this little link up because it kinda freezes Brylee at this age. I'll always be able to look onto these in a year from now and see how things changed month by month.

1. What is something I always say to you?
 I love you, B!
Yes, I do always say this!

2. What makes me happy?

When we sing our song. 
I taught B this song and we sing it every night before we say our goodnight prayers. 

3. How do I make you laugh?

When you act crazy!
I have no idea what she's talking about ;)
 

4. What do you enjoy doing with me?

Swing and jump and run outside.
Yes, we do this a lot! 

5. What is my favorite thing to do?

Cook and cuddle with me.
Those are some of my favorite things to do!

Kids Behind The Blog | April

I learned three things this morning on my way to drop Brylee off at school. 

1. Jesus makes fog when he's sleepy

 2. Brylee needs to have a talk with Jesus so he can get more sleep

3. Fog makes her sneeze

To live life through my 3 year old's eyes would be amazing! Because of my lesson this morning, I thought today would be a good day to link up for The Kids Behind the Blog. 1. What is your favorite thing to do with your friends?
 Play tag
I must say, she just started playing tag and I kinda love it! 

2. Who is your favorite person?
Mommy!
 Made my day!

3.When playing outside, what do your ideal sunny plans look like?
Swing, play with chalk and ride my gator!
But she has NO IDEA how to drive the gator without wrecking! Ha!

4. What do you like to do when it's raining?
Grab my umbrella and jump in puddles!
I absolutely knew this would be her answer!

5. If you could plant a garden of anything, what would you plant?
Sunflowers so daddy wouldn't have to go to the store for his seeds anymore!

Brylee and I sat down the other day for a snack of strawberries and tilla (nutella) and we had our little interview.

1. What do you enjoy doing with mommy and daddy?

Snuggling in y'all's bed!

2. Name one thing you are really good at.

Playing with my toys, mom!

3. What is one thing we tell you often?

'Brylee don't potty in your panties!' and 'Brylee do you need to potty?'
(lol this is funny because we are always saying that- moving really did a number on potty training but we are back to being really good again!)

4. What do you want to be when you grow up?

I want to do what MooMoo (Tate's mom) does - I gave her a look like huh?- and she said 'puts her purse on her shoulder and goes shopping!'
Tate's mom will totally get a kick out of this!

5. What do you think we do when you go to bed?

Well y'all (she made a tip toe movement) and be really quiet then you get on the computer and daddy (she reclines back in her chair and props her feed up) lays here and watches TV.
Yes, most nights we do this! I think she secretly spies on us! haha!

And then we had a serious struggle trying to take a picture...

 

and then she was over it.. mama tried! :)

The Kid Behind the Blog | February

I thought today was Friday. I was getting ready to finish up my Friday Favorites post when I realized it was only Thursday. Talk about a 7 AM bummer moment. Tate usually has softball games on Tuesday but it got changed to Monday this week and it through off our entire week.

1. Where is your favorite place to go?

Meme's (my mom) and MooMoo's (Tate's mom) house

2. Who is your best friend?

Jackson (my nephew)

3. If you were a superhero what would your super power be?

Fly like Owlette. I'd go crazy in the sky!

Owlette is a new Disney Jr. character - FYI.

4. What is your favorite candy?

Starburst! (no hesitation)

I assume this only because she is taking starburst as part of her Valentine cards tomorrow.
